Cobra Kai Season 3: Release Date, Explanation, Plot, Cast, And Trailer Details

You might have already heard Cobra Kai is leaving YouTube for Netflix this year, beginning with season 3. YouTube is getting out of Original business, and now it’s on Netflix. Great, now release the show all ready. We all know that season 3 will be out this year, but the biggest question is when the release date is? We did get some clarification on why there is no release date set, as of yet. It comes down to how Netflix releases their show.

Every decision Netflix makes is with the future of series in mind. We are just excited to find out what their plans are. One of the Cobra Kai’s writers, Hayden Schlossberg, tweeted that “I feel like the release date is to be determined but to be determined quickly.”. Over the past few months, it seems that the Cobra Kai team has a lot of work on their hands to do before they can release the third season.

Release Date:

The show producers have expected that season 3 will be out by the end of Summer; that’s through the third week of September. However, it will also depend on what strategy, folks at Netflix come up with to surprise us. But you can re-run season 1 and season 2 on Netflix for a quick recap after 28 August, 2020. Meanwhile, waiting for season 3.

Explanation for Release Date:

Netflix broadcasts its original shows, at the global level, and at the same time, they also dubbed the show into the local language. On the other hand that means Cobra Kai has to be dubbed in over 30 languages right now, and above all that’s for all three seasons. As Cobra kai will be Netflix Original in the upcoming month, and admittedly that’s a lot of work.

A tweet from ko creator John Hurwitz implies that there may be a shift in strategy since the first thought was at the end of summer release. All Hollywood production was shut down for at least three months. Eventually, they will run dry, so with the new show like Cobra Kai, they can add that into the mix somewhere to help balance out the upcoming lack of new material.

Plot:

If you love the movie: Karate kid, and I’m not talking about the Jaden Smith one but the original 1984 production. You are certainly about to fall in love with Cobra Kai, as these episodes are the sequel of the original movie in the form of the season. Above all, Cobra Kai is carrying forward the same old story with a lot of different and surprising twists, 34 years in future.

Trailer Details:

Season 1 and season 2 will drop on Netflix before season 3 debuts. This strategy makes sense to me. As it will give the show time to grow and find a new audience and with the season 3 trailer at the same time will fill some of the void with new content on Netflix. That is something that will take a little bit of time to expand the fan base and fantastic experience to the broadest number of people.
