On Jan 15, 2020, The New York Times has confirmed security camera footage, which shows two Iranian military missiles hit Ukraine International Airlines flight 752 on Jan 8, 2020.
These missiles struck the plane from an Iranian military base that was 13km away, killing all 176 passengers and crew members on board.
The video shows that the aircraft was on fire for several minutes before crashing and exploding. The video taken from a rooftop in Bidkaneh, a village four miles from an Iranian military site.
Originally, the video uploaded by an Iranian on You-tuber. This is verified by The New York Times. The video shows, a small explosion after the 1st missile strike, succeed by the 2nd missile strike 20 seconds later.
This new viral video raising one more question from the Iranian officials. After the denials they admitted their mistake, hit the Ukrainian passenger flight without mentioning the second missile.
This video also answers the question of why the transponder stopped working before the plane crash and appeared moving back toward Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport before crashing roughly 20 miles from it.
A U.S. official recognized the weapon used as a Russian-made SA-15 surface-to-air missile system, also known as the Gauntlet.
On Saturday, Jan 11, 2020, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps admitted that they mistakenly fired the plane down and blamed human error for the strike. The plane was mixed up as a cruise missile flying over Tehran.
The video footage shows the date “2019-10-17,” not Jan 8. This is because the camera was using the Persian calendar instead of the Gregorian one.
