Mi hits into Home Security

Mi drives into home solutions and enters into the segment of 360 Home Security. The company also launched some subsidiary products like Camera 2K Pro and Mi Smart Clock. The distribution is started in the European market, expanding Xiaomi’s IoT portfolio.

Mi 360 Home Security 2K Pro:

The camera is packed with an upgraded Artificial Intelligence (AI), and it can also record at 1,269p for a sharper image. Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro also has some excellent quality noise cancellation audio mics for an enhanced recording experience. The speculations are made that this camera will create a new benchmark in the market relating to the general security standard in a home. 

Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro is packed with a 6P lens with f/1.4 aperture. It has a 118-degree viewing angle, which means it can capture many more areas in a single frame. It can record at 1,296p and supports 360-degree pan-tilt-zoom capabilities.

Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro comes with a 940-nm infrared light sensor for clear low light recordings. The security camera also has a feature of two-way real-time voice calling and has dual microphones. This technology uses active noise reduction technology to enhance the call experience.

The best part of the Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro comes with a privacy mode. Thus you can use the My Home app to enable and disable the physical shield, and the camera lens will automatically rotate downwards. Your privacy is safe with it. The camera supports dual-band Wi-Fi and uses H.265 encoding to save bandwidth and storage. The security camera can also be mounted in an inverted position as well.

Mi Smart Clock:

This clock has a feature called a colored touch screen. It can be your digital frame, smart voice assistant, alarm clock, and obviously, you’ll find a lot more in it.  

Mi Smart Clock comes with a 3.97-inch color display within touch support. It has inbuilt Google Assistant and Chromecast support. So now asking google would be an easy task about the morning and the day you are stepping to. It can also act and function as a smart IoT control hub that can operate and control music streaming alongside. 

Suppose you purchase both the products, i.e., Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro & Mi Smart Clock. The user can directly stream the footage captured from the Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro and can see it on Mi Smart Clock. A surprise feature that keeps the devices in sync.

The sunrise alarm feature will ease the user to wake up in the morning and step in the new day. It can also be used as a digital photo frame, and its touch feature can slide the photos too. Xiaomi is currently nagging about the high-quality sound with Mi Smart Clock.

Taking about the prices of the products:

Mi 360 Home Security Camera 2K Pro is expected to be priced at EUR 59.99 (roughly Rs. 5,400), and it is being offered in a white color body. 

Mi Smart Clock is expected to be priced at EUR 49.99 (roughly Rs. 4,500), and it is being offered in a white-colored exterior frame and body. 

Xiaomi has still not shared details on the current availability, and it is unclear if and when the two products will be launched in the Indian market. Thus, one’s excited for the products to need to wait for a bit longer now.
