Modi Cabinet: Seven more women join the council of the PM Modi

About seven more female members, including Meenakashi Lekhi, Shobha Karandlaje and Anupriya Singh Patel, joined the Council of Prime Minister Narendra on Wednesday, taking overall women’s strength to 11, which was one of the highest. A total of 15 ministers of new cabinets and 28 state ministers were sworn in, taking the council’s power to 78.

At present, the overall strength of women from the cabinet is 11, which is one of the highest. There were nine women in the first mod of 2014-19, including six in the cabinet. Nirmala Sitharaman, Irani’s Smriti (Second Minister of Cabinet), Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Renuka Singh Saruta have become part of the Union Ministers.

Among the seven female members who joined today, three were the first parliamentarians. Patel made a comeback to the council of the minister because he was the State Union Minister for Health under the previous PM Modi. Seven women who took an oath as Minister of State was Karandlaje, Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Lekhi, AnnPurna Devi, Pratima Bhoonik, Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar and Apna Dal’s Anupriya Singh Patel.

Lekhi, 54, is a member of the Lok Sabha from New Delhi and presents the terms of both members of parliament. He is a Supreme Court lawyer and social worker. Devi, 51, is the first Sabha MP from Kodarma in Jharkhand. He has also become MLA four times from Jharkhand and Bihar and has served as a cabinet minister in the Jharkhand government.

He has also served as the Minister of State for mine and geology. In the Government of Bihar, at the young age of 30. BHOUMIK, 52, is the first time Sabha MP for Tripura West in Tripura. He comes from a humble background and farming practice.

Pawar, 42, is also a member of the First Sabha for Dindori in Maharashtra. He served as a member of Nashik Zila Parishad and worked to eradicate malnutrition and provide clean drinking water. Before joining politics, he was a medical practitioner. Patel, 40, is a member of Lok Sabha twice from Mirzapur at Uttar Pradesh.

As many as 43 ministers took an oath in the performance of expansion-cum-performance performance on Wednesday night. This includes Sarbanou Sonowal BJP, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ajay Bhatt, Bhupender Yadav, Shantanu Thakur, and Patil Kapil Paras Pashupati LJP.
