Pune is at Top in Corona virus cases in India

Pune is now a COVID hotspot in India! Maharashtra city has more active cases than Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai .!!.

Day by Day, the cases are increasing, and now in India, Pune is COVID hotspot. Currently Pune has the highest number of cases in the country, with more than 41000 patients.Pune is the big city in India! Pune has recovered 3200 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the total over 1.3 lakh.
In Mumbai, we have around 1.28 lakh Coronavirus cases. In Chennai, we have 1.16 lakh COVID cases, or Delhi is leading the chart with 1.25 lakh Coronavirus cases in India, as per the IE report.

Now Pune does have the highest number in the country with more than 41000 patients. In Delhi, there are 11000 active cases in Mumbai 18000 active cases, and in Chennai has 11500 active Coronavirus cases. In India, we have a massive number of Coronavirus cases.

Pune was the higher number of cases than Mumbai and Delhi; their growth rate was very higher day-by-day.
Pune was one of the first places in the country where the COVID-19 cases were detected, but it had a lesser number then Mumbai.

In the last 24 hours, India has reported 57982 Coronavirus cases and 941 COVID-19 related death reported in India.
On 17 August 2020, India has 6,76,900 active Coronavirus cases, and 19,19,843 patients were discharged from hospitals, and 50921 died.

Update :

51.5% of samples tested in Maharashtra have had antibodies against the virus, resulting in the highest seroprevalence report from any city.

More the 1,30,000 confirmed cases registered.

It shows Pune has surpassed the financial Capital of India long ago in terms of official numbers.
At the time of sample collection, Pune has 41 administrative sub-wards,

Samples From 12 wards, One thousand six hundred sixty-four random (1664) samples were taken for the survey
People residing in the bungalow have seropositivity of 43.9%,56-62% in case of tenants & 33% who live in apartments, observed in a research.
The researcher said, “Pune Municipal Corporation has high granularity testing data which allow them to check in the coming weeks whether the infection is slowing down or not specifically in arera with highest seroprevalence.”

Researchers are planning to study the antibodies to see if they are neutralizing as unless the antibodies are protective.
Last month a survey in Mumbai showed a seroprevalence of 57% in slums and 16% in other areas.

Pune is registering cases continuously, residents must have to take care of themselves and must act tactfully.
