Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari Review: First Movie in Theatres after Lockdown

The movie “Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari” could be a turning point for Manoj Vajpayee. Likewise, the movie “Hum Kisi se Kam Nahi” been a turning point for Amitabh Bacchan in his bygone era. Amitabh Bachchan has played the father’s role, and her daughter Aishwarya Rai fell in love with Sanjay Dutt, but Amitabh was broadly against this love duo.

There were “N” numbers of movies in the early nineties that has reckless romances in which lovers were against the elements that were conspiring to keep them apart.

“Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari” is amongst one of those movies where a local guy Suraj (Diljit), and Tulsi (Fatima Sana Shaikh) were madly in love with each other. Still, her brother Mangal (Manoj Vajpayee) was opposed to them.

The movie “Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari” would be the first Bollywood movie released in India’s cinema theatres after a lockdown on 15th November 2020.

The younger guy named Suraj sing Dhillon (Diljit Dosanjh) is looking for a bride. His mother badly wanted her son to get married; moreover, he was also a bit hurry to find a suitable girl for him regardless of knowing he wasted his whole life going around here and there.

Suraj belongs from a straightforward family, and He goofs up more often than not while he tried to speak Marathi and English to impress a woman whenever generally he goes looking for a girl for marriage. He would come across so many women, but unfortunately, he was not liked by anyone.

Wedding detective Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj Vajpayee) did the finest job in a movie and played the man who investigates and searches the suitable guy for the right woman. If he finds something wrong in them, he doesn’t let go of things on their way. In a movie, he captured Suraj’s shot while he was boozing and became a barrier for Suraj’s marriage by revealing pictures to his future bride’s family.

This was the moment when the agreement of their family was seemed almost done. Still, somehow it did not go well to Suraj’s side, and he came across another rejection, which makes him decide to take revenge but, meanwhile, meets with Tulsi (Fatima Sana Shaikh and Mangal’s Sibling in the movie).

Later, the idea of taking revenge faded away from his mind as he and Tulsi both fell in love together. This thing makes so frustrating Mangal as Suraj did not seem the right groom for his sister.

Overall, it is good to watch a movie where you see a pleasant comedy with the duo Suraj and Tulsi’s romance.  Somewhere in-between the movie, you will get to see a comedy called “Paisa Vasool” for Major people who would like to watch a Romance-Comedy movie.
