His Love For Clothes

John said, I’m obsessed with clothes and I find it very easy to write about them. I’m fashionable once, for about three months every 15 years. My look is very easy to maintain but that wasn’t always the case – in the 80s, I couldn’t find anything. Every time I get tubular ivy league blazer that didn’t have padded shoulders I had to treat it like it made out of gold. They were never out of the dry cleaners – I only wear them to weddings, funerals, and gigs, and I’ve still got them now.
